David Wins 1st place in the 1st Hershey Felder Piano and Vocal competition.
This will be broadcast on WFMT Radio Chicago. He is also in talks about a
further 1hr show to be broadcast in the near future. This show will be based
on his career and the competition.
David takes part in the 1st round of the 1st Hershey Felder Piano and Vocal
competition.
October - David begins talks about recitals on cruise ships in the summer of 08 and
books concerts in Heaton Moor, Stockport and Wilmslow shortly after his
return to the U.K. Full details will be posted shortly
September - David Returns to the U.S
June/July - David plays Recitals in Bramhall, Heaton Moor and Stockport. All received high acclaim and is already in talks with concert venues for Recitals in 2008. Details will be listed here shortly.
May - David performed his Carnegie Hall Debut
April - David receives 1st Prize in the Bradshaw and Buono International Piano Competition.
March - David receives 3rd Prize in the finals of the MTNA Competition in Canada and is invited to take part in competitions in Texas and Japan.

Chicago is David Schofield's kind of town, which is just as well as the 18-year-old Heald Green pianist is set to study there for the next four years.
David, a former pupil at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester, has already made his mark by winning competitions and making influential friends.

January - David is declared winner of the "East Central Division" of the MTNA competition

November - David is declared "Winner of the State" for the Illinois section of the MTNA competition in Decator. He will now play in the state of Michigan on January (Times and Dates on

David had his work praised by both concert pianists Imogen Cooper and Ivo Pogorelich and begins talks about promotion in Europe
September - David is thrilled to receive a sponsor from The UK Hosting Company for his website.

July - David Plays two nights of farewell Recitals in Styal where the "Last Notes for Now" C.D. was available including works by Chopin, Ravel, Prokofiev and Mendelssohn.
August - David Leaves for Chicago.
June - David Played in the Chethams Leavers Piano Concert alongside other pianists including BBC Finalist Cordelia Williams.
February - David played Ibert: Divertissement alongside players from Chetham's Symphony Orchestra at the Bridgewater Hall.
May - David Played at the RNCM as part of the Rachmaninoff Festival.
March - David played a recital in the Customs House - Newcastle
January - David Wins the Junior Chopin Prize at the RNCM in memory of Ryszard Bakst and receives a scholarship to go to the Warsaw piano Workshop in August *Due to his trip to Chicago unfortunately he could not attend this.
2005
December - Performance at the Sage Gateshead as part of the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition.
October - David performs Full Recital in Gately including works by Schubert, Scarlatti, Chopin, Prokofiev and Finnissy
Other Performances included venues in Southport, Altrincham, Harrogate and Knowle Green
November - David was a prizewinner in the Elgin Piano competition in Scotland.
